In Writing for Public Relations I learned to create different documents including a media advisory and a press release. I also learned a lot about AP Style and how important it is to use it when creating such documents. For our final project we worked in pairs to create a PR campaign for a company of our choosing. Like in my social media class, I chose Target. It’s a dynamic company that both my partner and I had background knowledge on. Below is the media advisory I created for an event Target would host, looking for models to freshen up Target’s image.
